Ilya Slutskiy

Biography

Ilya Slutskiy was born in 1968 in Chelyabinsk, USSR, but grew up between 3 months and 17 years old in Almaty, Kazakhstan. After graduating from Republican Physics and Math School he joined Moscow Technological University (Stankin). His carrier as system engineer did not last long. In the early 90s the classmates organized a company that further became one of the largest marketing communications groups in ex-USSR. Under Mr. Slutskiy’s management Media Arts Group grew up to 350 mln USD billings with 700 employees in 5 countries. Long term partnership with Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) gave him valuable experience of working in a global organization and left friends and partners in many countries around the globe.

Ilya now remains a shareholder in Media Arts. He also manages his investments in e-commerce and classical musicians’ management.

Mr. Slutskiy is married with four kids. He runs marathons, practices alpine climbing and enjoys reading, writing, photography, wines and travelling.
